The right material depends on the pitch, the building and what you want it to look like in ten years. On most New Jersey homes that is an architectural asphalt shingle – we are certified for GAF Timberline HDZ and an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor, so those two are what we fit most. Where the pitch is too low for shingles we use EPDM or TPO membrane, and standing-seam metal suits porch roofs, dormers and some full roofs. We bring samples so you can see them against the house.

Some conditions become visible only after the existing roofing is removed. If we find decking that needs attention, we explain the issue and proposed additional work for approval before covering it with the new system.
